I’d love to know how I can trade real time with IB while using a reliable data provider such as eSignal. It seems AB has huge potential for real time trading, but I’m not willing to trust IB’s data for real-time trading decisions..
Simply set your data plugin to eSignal. The Interactive Brokers Controller is a separate program from the IB plugin. This means you can trade IB with data from eSignal.
